Research and Professional Interests
Lingli Huang studied governance and law at the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing from 1998-2002. After graduation, she worked for an urban community development office in Beijing.
Lingli Huang received her master's in the Program on Global Social Change in the Department of Sociology at the Johns Hopkins University in 2010, and is currently a PhD candidate in sociology. Lingli’s research interests involve irrigation and water, global food security, rural development, and cross-national comparison of agriculture.
