Research and Professional Interests
Andrea Aliaga holds an MBA from Universidad de Palermo, in Buenos Aires and a Bsc in Communications from the Catholic University, La Paz. She works for the German Technical Cooperation , GTZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit), in the communications department of the Drinking Water Supply and Sanitation in small and medium-sized Cities Program in Bolivia. She joined the program, as well as the water and sanitation world, a year ago, and her previous professional experience is in marketing and organizational communications. She believes that communications and social marketing are as important as technical capacity building in any development project strategy and hopes her background can bring new approaches to GTZ´s work on water and sanitation in her home country, Bolivia.
